Good to know

Do the boats come with a crew?

Yes, a skipper is available. You can also rent without crew if your team holds the right qualifications. Tell us which you prefer in your request and the offer includes it.

Can you deliver abroad?

Yes. The boats are road transportable and fit a 40 ft container. The Tornado 7 fits a 20 ft container. Trading area is worldwide, and delivery by road, container, crane or slip is part of the offer.

Which classification do the boats have?

The Cyclone 8 and 9 are MCA Cat 3 up to 20 miles. The Galactica and Tornado 7 are MCA. Ask us for the spec sheet of the boat you need.

How fast can I get a quote?

Send the form and Klaas Post replies personally, usually within one working day.

What does it cost to rent or hire a boat?

Rates depend on the boat, the period, whether you need a skipper and where the boat has to go. Tell us about your project and Klaas Post sends one offer that covers boat, crew and transport.

What projects do you rent for?

Film and television productions, offshore wind, survey and ROV work, dive support, crew transfers and events. Rib Rentals has worked on Red Bull Air Race, Dunkirk, Tenet and The Odyssey.

Which boat should I choose?

That depends on crew size and equipment. The Tornado 10 takes 12 persons and has a diesel heater. The Galactica Catamaran takes 10 and has a cabin, galley, bed and toilet. The Cyclone 9 and RIB P62 take 4 and reach 50 knots with dynamic positioning. The Cyclone 9 adds a bowthruster and 1500 kg bollard pull, the RIB P62 a night vision camera. The Cyclone 8 is the compact option. The Tornado 7 takes 8 and fits a 20 ft container. The Enterprise is the largest at 10.6 m, with heating and radar. The Twister 7 is the smallest at 7.0 m, with a very low clearance height. Tell us about your project and Klaas Post advises.
